Josh Hutcherson

American actor and producer

Josh Hutcherson, born on October 12, 1992 in Kentucky, USA, is an American actor and producer.

In 2002, Josh Hutcheson made his debut with the TV movie "House Blend".

In 2003, starred in the TV movie "Miracle Dogs". In the same year, the film "American Honor" starring him was released, which became a small budget masterpiece praised by the critics.  

In 2004, he had the opportunity to collaborate with Tom Hanks on the Christmas film "Polar Express," which captured actors' movements and expressions through a computer. In the same year, he provided voice acting for films and TV dramas such as "Infinite Justice League Season 1" and "Howl's Moving Castle".

In 2005, he gained attention for starring in "Little Manhattan" and "Brave Game 2," and was given the opportunity to play the role of Shane in Todd Holland's film "Fire Dog.  

In 2005 and 2006, he won the Young Actor Award twice.

In 2007, he obtained his first breakthrough role in "Bridge of Wonderland". The following year, he co starred with Brandon Fraser in the popular movie "Journey to the Center of the Earth".

In 2010, Josh co starred with Annette Benning, Julianne Moore, and others in the critically acclaimed film "The Kids Are All Right".

In 2012, he became one of the representative figures among the new generation of male actors in the United States with the movie "The Hunger Games". Received the 2012 Teen Choice Award in the same year. In the same year, the film "The Imitation" that he wrote and starred in was released.

In 2014, his co starring role with Jennifer Lawrence in "The Hunger Games 3" grossed 120 million yuan on its first day of release.

In 2017, he directed and starred in the 13 minute short film "Ape" which was released. The first season of the half-hour comedy "High Play Saves the Future" starring him was aired in the same year. After its broadcast, the drama received widespread praise from the American critics.  

In 2019 and 2020, the second and third seasons of the drama, starring him, were broadcasted successively.  

On February 2, 2024, the film "Beekeeper" co starring him and Jason Statham grossed over 100 million yuan in mainland China after 22 days of release.
